Kady Lyons Receives AIFRB’s Clark Hubb Research Assistance Award

IMG_8638Kady Lyons' research is focused on elasmobranch physiology in relation to organic contaminant accumulation and effects. In particular, she is interested in the maternal transfer of contaminants and the implications it has on elasmobranch development and fitness. She is currently working on her PhD in Dr. Vijayan’s environmental toxicology lab at the University of Calgary, which will investigate the physiological effects of contaminant exposure in round stingrays.
